We ask that this theme play a central role in your session.

Please consider and develop in your presentation how our theme, “BECOMING,” shapes the way we think about this issue/topic. (Read more on our theme HERE.)  You may wish to touch on questions like:

How are our priorities in this work different when we recognize that God’s first priority for us is the person we are becoming, "conformed to the image of His Son?”

How might we engage ministry differently when our first priority for others is to help them to know and then to reflect the heart and character of Jesus Christ?

More broadly, how do the deep truths of the Christian faith inform our understanding and application of this topic—adding a richness, depth, and strength that might be lacking in a purely material or secular approach?

Session surveys will ask attendees if they felt the session included a connection to the CAFO2024 theme.

INSTRUCTIONAL WORKSHOPS:

• Instructional, including interaction as much as possible
• You will be assigned a 60 or 75-minute session

BETTER TOGETHER WORKSHOPS:

• Approximately 75% interaction
• Examples: problem-solving, experiential, topic-based discussion, making a plan, guided activity, etc.
• You will be assigned a 60 or 75-minute session
• PPTs can be utilized but are not necessary (if necessary, guiding presentation only, no longer than six slides)

COACHING TABLES:

• 100% interactive
• Small group setting with one round table and chairs (room seating will accommodate between 8-15 people, including the coach)
• Purpose: This small group setting allows attendees to receive personalized guidance and directly engage with a content expert through discussion and Q&A
• You will be assigned a 60 or 75-minute session
• No formal presentation (please, no PPTs)

MEET-UPS:

• Focuses on a gathering of a particular people group or issue
• No formal presentation (please, no PPTs)
• Led by one or more hosts or ministries
• 45 minutes

No additional session leader or panelist can be added beforehand or on-site without permission from Summit leadership first (for any session).
